Jake is the founder and chief investment officer at Tradecraft Capital, a macro/thesis driven crypto fund. Prior to Tradecraft, he started a specialized software engineering firm that included clients like American Express & FOX Sports. Jake is also an advisor to several venture-backed startups, an angel investor, a mentor at VC firms, Mucker Capital and Hypothesis as well as a strategic advisor at private equity firm, Diversis Capital.
Jake Ryan earned a BS in Computer Science from the University of Texas at Austin. He is a 1st author of published work, applying artificial intelligence to cybersecurity, “Intrusion Detection with Neural Networks”, which now has 700+ Google Scholar Citations. Mr. Ryan was the keynote speaker at two of the top AI conferences, AAAI & NeurIPS.
In addition, Jake is a frequent speaker on the crypto circuit including the LA Blockchain Summit, Crypto Invest Summit, Autonomy2040, Elev8: Digital Assets as well as investor conferences like Family Office Club Private Investor Conference, TDAmeritrade’s LINC and the Inside ETFs conferences.
