Robyn Friedman is the Head of Blockchain for the Wholesale Digital Office of Nomura. She is responsible for the development and implementation of the Nomura’s Wholesale blockchain and digital asset investment and build-out strategy across the digital asset space. Robyn Joined Nomura in Feb 2021. Prior to this, since 2017 she has been involved in numerous start-ups from consultancy, advisory and c-suite positions focused around DLT, capital markets & digital assets. With a particular interest in where sustainability and green assets meet digital assets & DeFi.
Robyn’s background includes 13 years running structured and complex trading desks in Investment Banks in London, having started out as a quant. She holds a MSc in Finance and Economics from London School of Economics and dropped out (or yet to finish) PhD in Mathematics at Imperial College.
